Lively WebGL Template works with Unity 2020.1 and Newer
  • There are no configurable settings in the “Player / WebGL Settings” for this template. Instead, open the Lively WebGL Editor window under Window/Devon Lively/LivelyWebGL/ LivelyWebGL Editor. The LivelyWebGL Editor Window is where you will input your template settings; Anytime you make changes you must save your template by clicking the big red button. Its at the top of the editor; You shouldn’t miss it.

  • To pause the WebGL Game with a tap to start screen AFTER the game has loaded, a prefab must be added to your initial scene.
  • The prefab is located here: (Assets/ Devon Lively/ LivelyWebGLTemplate/ WebGLCallbackHandler/ WebGLCallbackHandler), and it’s GameObject Name must never change!
  • The rating system and plays counter require a server with access to server-side code (such as PHP, Node.js, Python, etc.).
    • These features will not function on purely static hosting (like GitHub Pages or itch.io)
  • Anything in the Assets/WebGLTemplates/ directory should remain in their respective folders, or the template wont function correctly. You may change the graphics, just don't change the filename.

Keep this in mind htaccess overview, But check it out later.
